Who we are:

Tom and Cheryl Molinar are currently serving as missionaries to South Africa, under their ministry called Operation Molinar Mission (OMM).  OMM is affiliated with Operation Grace World Missions, www.ogwm.org.  Their mission is to ensure that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is boldly proclaimed, and to strengthen the body of believers wherever they are.

By God’s Grace and mighty power, we have been given the privilege of serving Him, by spreading this Good News.  Ephesians 3:7

They arrived in South Africa during 1992, in the midst of an historic transitional period.  Like so many other nations that have gone before, this country would either stand or fall, based on its acceptance or rejection of Christ and God’s Word.

In Texas, they met and married in 1977.   Their spiritual lives grew under the ministry of Berachah Church and R B Thieme Jr Bible Ministries, where they worked for 16 years.  Under the teaching ministry of their local church and current Pastor R B Thieme III, they have learned the true meaning of the Christian Life.  They have come to understand the values of honour, integrity, humility and Christian virtue love. These timeless principles are not only critical in the spiritual life, but in every aspect of one’s temporal life.

Tom is a retired Major in the US Marine Corps, having served during the Vietnam War era and in the reserves until 1993.  In South Africa he served as development director for a large hotel management and operating company.

But knowing this, “. . . to whom much is given, much is expected.”  Luke 12:48b; and in Proverbs 27:17, it says this, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” Tom & Cheryl recognised the need to break out of the corporate mould and train others in God’s way of Thinking – The Mind of Christ, and the Gospel of Salvation.

Since 2008, they have commenced with teaching and developing others: For, “The Lord gives wisdom, and from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. . . . Wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.”  Proverbs 2:6 & 10.  Just as God has so graciously imparted the Wisdom of His Word to us, so then shall we communicate and share His treasures with others.  “Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly that you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom.”  Colossians 3:16a.

This is their mission.

Financial Policy

Molinar Mission operates from a principle of Grace, which means that money is never an issue. There is no price attached to our work; no money is ever requested.  What we have learned, God has given to us freely and we wish to reflect His Grace.

When gratitude for the Word of God motivates a believer to give, he has the privilege of contributing to the dissemination of the Gospel and God’s Word.

2 Corinthians 9:7……Each one must do just as he has purposed [motivated] to do in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a well-motivated giver.
